Attributes & variations

The attributes describe reusable options (Size, Color, etc.). Variations are salable combinations on a product.

Create attributes

  1. Go toCatalog → Attributes.
  2. Add an attribute (eg.Size).
  3. Add the values ​​(S, M, L… or color dots).
  4. Reuse these attributes on as many products as necessary.

Create variations

  1. Open aproduct sheet.
  2. In the variations area, select the relevant attributes.
  3. Generate variants, then adjust price, stock, SKU, or image per variant.
  4. Save and check the rendering on the store side (option selector).
Recommended orderGlobal attributes first → values ​​→ then product variations. Reversing the order often results in recreating the same values ​​multiple times.

Filters on the store

Attributes can be used as filters on catalog pages, if the option is activated in Design and attached to categories. SeeConfiguration → Design.
